Finding Breastfeeding Websites is only a Google away!
The BAD news is that most of those website won't give you accurate information! Don't be fooled! Remember that anyone can set up a website and give "how-to's" in breastfeeding, but MANY don't really know what they are talking about.
A good way to tell if the site you are looking at might be a good one is to find out the credentials of the person giving the info. IBCLC's would be a good source of info. A website with ads from formula companies would not, no matter who writes it. Remember that many healthcare providers do NOT have specialized training in breastfeeding problems. They may or may not have accurate and research based info. Something to think about.

- Academy of

- Worldwide organization of physicians dedicated to the promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding and human lactation.
- International
Lactation Consultant Organization
- You can check here to see if your "Lactation Consultant" is really certified. Remember ANYONE can call themselves an LC!, but only those certified with this international organization can carry the credentials, IBCLC, RLC (Registered Lactation Consultant)
